Firefighters Battle Truck Fire On Rt. 22
The tractor trailer carrying wood pallets went up in flames early Wednesday morning on Route 22 in Bridgewater.
BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Firefighters battled a tractor trailer fire on Route 22 in Bridgewater early Wednesday morning. A video from the scene was captured by the Finderne Fire Department.
On Sept. 11 at around 2:30 a.m. Finderne Fire and Finderne Rescue Squad went to Route 22 East at Chimney Rock Road for the working fire.
The driver was uninjured in the blaze and the fire appears to have started from the rear brakes of the truck, said Finderne Fire Department Deputy Chief Tom Marshall.

The truck had been loaded with wood pallets, said Marshall.
Finderne Engine 301, Engine 303 and Rescue 30 responded along with Green Knoll Fire Department's engine and tanker and Martinsville Volunteer Fire Department's engine to help.
