Breaking News: Asalt and Buttery is moving to Caldwell New Jersey just in time for Caldwell Restaurant Week – 2014 is going to be the best summer ever!
Since opening Asalt and Buttery a few years ago, Maureen O’Neill faced to problems: 1. Americans think macaron are those coconut things and 2. not having enough space to make those delightful treats that have become the perfect ending to parties, rough weeks, or the ideal bridal shower table gift. As more people discover her authentic French Macarons the first problem is going away as people in the Garden State discover her “macs,” and come summer space will no longer be an issue as she’s opening up in Caldwell.
“Caldwell is a great food town” says O’Neill. “With great places like Xunta Tapas, Rockin’ Joe, Cloverleaf Tavern and Dough [Artisin] Pizza, how could I pass the chance to be a part of this community when the opportunity presented itself.”
Asalt and Buttery is currently slated to open in the early summer, but contractors, plumbers, and the permits are all a part of the process so an exact date for opening has not been set yet. Maureen explained that her Little Falls location will continue to operate until the new location, across from Rockin’ Joes, opens.
With the new location, Asalt and Buttery will be able to expand its wholesale operation.
