Chatham's CSM Art & Frame Hosts Charity Benefit and Art Exhibition to Support Cancer Foundation

"Art for a Cause" Takes Place at the Gallery on December 1 from 5-8pm at 295 Main Street, Chatham, NJ, in the Carriage House

CSM Art & Frame, located at 295 Main Street in Chatham, will host an evening of art, cocktails, and refreshments to benefit Oncology and Hematology Foundation Wellness Program based in Denville, NJ. A portion of the exhibition’s proceeds will go to this charitable organization that provides integrated healing services to patients coping with cancer.

Gallery owner Caryn Krueger spent many hours this fall sourcing new and distinctive artwork that will be a part of the show. In addition to several high-end pieces, the display will include unique objects d’art that are part of CSM’s evolving vintage collection. There will also be photography, sculptures, mixed media, and paintings perfectly priced for holiday gift giving.

Teaming up with the Foundation to bring this event to fruition was an easy decision for Krueger. “Cancer has touched each and every one of us in some way. Programs that involve integrative healing services for patients such as yoga, massage, aromatherapy and nutrition is something that I have seen friends and family benefit from first-hand. I am thrilled that through this event, we can do our part to support this vital cause.”

Early next year, Krueger is hoping to further her work with the Foundation’s Wellness Program to incorporate art therapy into their growing agenda. “I truly believe there is a connection between art and healing, and I would love to share my expertise and assimilate creative expression into a patient’s comprehensive treatment plan.”
