Impressionist Kamil Kubik Artwork Shown at Library

The artwork will stay on display until Oct. 30.

The Library of the Chathams is currently hosting an art show featuring the work of Kamil Kubik, a modern-day impressionist painter.

Kubik was born in Czechoslovakia and studied in Prague, London, Sydney, San Francisco and New York. His work features scenes from these cities, as well as Paris and Washington, D.C. and is included in the collections of, among others, President George Bush, President Gerald Ford, Donald Trump, Gov. Thoams Kean and Prince Ranier of Monaco.

The work currently on display at the library includes paintings of the White House, the New York Stock Exchange, Central Park, scenes from lower Manhattan including Wall Street and the St. Patrick's Day and World Series Championship parades.

The artwork is available for viewing in the basement of the library during open hours.
