Driver Hospitalized After Medical Episode In Cherry Hill

NJDOT previously reported a crash with injuries on Interstate 295. But State Police have informed Patch that there wasn't a crash.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — A driver was hospitalized after suffering a medical episode Thursday morning in Cherry Hill, according to State Police.

Troopers responded to the incident at 10 a.m. on Interstate 295 North. The driver, who operated a Toyota passenger vehicle, was brought to a local hospital, officials said.

The NJ Department of Transportation (NJDOT) had originally reported that a crash with injuries was delaying area traffic. But Tpr. Troy McNair later told Patch that there wasn't a crash.

No additional information was available on the incident or the driver's current condition.

The incident is no longer impacting traffic, according to NJDOT.
