Body of Hispanic Girl Found In Delaware River

A 14-year-old girl recently went missing in the area, according to Philly.com.

The body of an Hispanic juvenile girl was found in the Delaware River, in the Torresdale section of Northeast Philadelphia, reports say.

NBC10 is reporting the body was found around 11:15 a.m. near the Linden Avenue Boat Ramp.

The girl was unresponsive when she was found, and transported to the medical examiner’s office for identification, according to 6 ABC.

A 14-year-old girl recently went missing in the area, and her backpack and cell phone were found near the Tacony-Palmyra Bridge, according to Philly.com.

The missing 14-year-old is identified by NBC 10 as Pamela Flores, of Philadelphia. Her father was contacted after the Marine Unit recovered the girl on Wednesday, but it has not been confirmed if the body belongs to Flores as of Wednesday afternoon.
