2 Cars Engulfed In Flames During Clark Garage Fire
The late Monday night fire was reported on Emerald Place in Clark.
CLARK, NJ — Two cars reportedly burned up in a garage fire late Monday night in Clark.
The fire was reported just before 11:30 p.m. at a two-car garage at 69 Emerald Place.
Firefighters were faced with heavy fire conditions where two cars inside were fully involved in fire as well as the contents, Clark Fire Chief Frank J. Cerasa said.

Foam was used to extinguish the fire. There were no reported injuries.
Clark firefighters cleared the scene at 3 a.m., Cerasa said.

Responding units included: Clark Fire Department with three engines and one truck company with about 24 firefighters, Union County Hazmat and Investigation units, along with mutual aid engines from Scotch Plains, Garwood and a truck company from Kenilworth were on standby at Clark Fire Headquarters.
