Body Found in Newton Creek Tuesday Afternoon
Authorities are working to identify the body and determine the cause of death.

Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man who was found in Newton Creek near the White Horse Pike in Oaklyn Tuesday afternoon, Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Oaklyn Police Chief Mark Moore said.
Two fishermen reported finding the body of a black man in his 30s around 4:45 p.m. The body was removed by the Collingswood Fire Department.
Detectives are working to positively identify the man. An autopsy will be conducted on Wednesday in an to attempt to determine a cause and manner of death.
