Collingswood Police Collar Suspect in Aldi Robbery

"The wheels of justice turn slowly, but grind exceedingly fine," as the proverb says.

Proving the worth of those words, the Collingswood Police Department arrested a man for a stick-up job dating back to July.

Justin Dukes, 25, of Turnersville, was charged with first-degree robbery, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a handgun, aggravated assault with a firearm and theft in connection with a daylight robbery of the Aldi supermarket.

The Collingswood Detective bureau developed information about Dukes’ possible involvement in the case after a lengthy investigation, and later determined that they had sufficient information to charge him with the crime.

Dukes was remanded to the Camden County correctional facility on full-cash bail in excess of $150,000.
