Power Outages in East Brunswick

PSE&G is reporting up to 500 power outages in East Brunswick following a day of high winds and now, heavy rain.

The National Weather Service issued a tornado watch earlier today. The watch ended at 7 p.m., but not before winds brought down branches thoughout the area. Heavy rains hit the area before 7 p.m.

The rain is expected to last through night, with the strong winds winding down by Wednesday, while the showers are likely to continue. The temperature will also start to lower on Wednesday with a high around 71 predicted for the day.
