Seven Roads to be Repaired

The Township Council approved seven roads that will be repaired as part of the 2012 Township Capital Budget. Is yours on the list? Do you agree with the list?

Seven Roads to be Repaired

The township is getting ready for one of its signature events—road improvements.

Each year the township sets aside money for the maintenance and repair of several township roads. On Monday, the Township Council approved this year’s list of roads that will be repaired.

The $500,000 needed to fund the projects was approved in March as part of Mayor David Stahl’s $1.4 million capital budget.

On Monday, Township Administrator James White said repairs are subject to weather conditions, but are expected to happen over the summer.

Don’t forget, if you have a pot hole on your road that needs to be repaired, you don’t have to wait until that road is on a list. Simply call the township Public Works Department or visit their website and file a request to have it filled. Township employees will be out promptly to take care of the problem.

Here are the roads approved for repairs this year. Is yours on it? Let us know in the comments if there is a road you’d rather see on this list.
