Theft on Rogers Avenue
A Rogers Avenue resident reported theft of the victim’s vehicle tires and rims.
Police said between Oct. 25 at 9 p.m. and Oct. 26 at 6:30 a.m. unknown subject(s) entered the victim’s driveway and stole all the tires and rims of the victim’s vehicle. Upon awaking and exiting the residence, the victim observed the vehicle on blocks and all the tires and rims removed.
The stolen items were valued at $2,000, police said.

On Oct. 31 at 3:22 p.m. on North Main Street, police arrested Troy Crump, II, 22, and charged him with contempt of court and soliciting without a permit.
While on patrol, police said they were alerted to subjects soliciting in the area. The subjects were located and stopped, police said, and a credential check for Crump, of Philadelphia, revealed an active warrant issued by Gloucester Township Municipal Court in the amount of $163.
Crump was arrested, processed, charged additionally with soliciting without a permit on a summons complaint. He was later released on his own recognizance with pending court action.
Monroe Man Faces Drug Charges
Police arrested Charles Watson, III, 29, on Nov. 1 at 10:35 a.m. after they stopped his motor vehicle on Mercer Street.
Watson, of Monroe, was stopped after a random license plate check revealed the vehicle’s registration had expired. Police said the officer detected a raw odor of marijuana emanating from the passenger compartment of the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed a canister containing the narcotic and paraphernalia, police said.
Watson was charged with possession of marijuana under fifty grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, and having an expired registration.
He was taken into custody and later released on a summons complaint with pending court action.
Panhandling on Mercer Street
On Nov. 1 at 5:11 p.m. on Main Street, police arrested Jose Barrero, 26, of Mercer Street, and charged him with disorderly conduct and panhandling.
While on a foot patrol, police said the officer observed Barrero soliciting subjects for money. Police reportedly warned Barrero to cease such activity and to leave the area. Police said the officer continued on his foot patrol and observed the subject acting in a tumultuous manner, yelling at citizens.
Barrero was arrested and was later released on his own recognizance pending court action.
Drug Charges from Motor Vehicle Stop
Police arrested Sarah Delvecchio-Conroy, 24, of Yardville, NJ on Nov. 4 at 3:14 p.m. on Mercer Street.
Delvecchio-Conroy was stopped for a motor vehicle infraction, police said, and while presenting her credentials to the officer, advised the officer that there was marijuana in the glove box of the vehicle. She was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, police said. Delvecchio-Conroy was released on a summons complaint pending court action.
