WATCH: Englewood Firefighters Extinguish Car Fire

A vehicle caught fire on Interstate 95 Thursday, officials said.

ENGLEWOOD, NJ — City firefighters extinguished a vehicle fire on Interstate 95 Thursday.

An off-duty firefighter reported the fire at 10 a.m.; responding firefighters responded and quickly put the fire out, said acting Fire Chief Erik Enersen.

No injuries were reported. Enersen did not say what caused the fire.

The Teaneck Fire Department and the State Police responded to the scene and assisted Englewood firefighters, Enersen said.
