Car Fire Closes Upper Level Of GWB
All the occupants got out of the car safely and no one was injured, authorities said.

FORT LEE, N.J. — A car fire closed the entire New Jersey-bound side of the upper level of the George Washington Bridge Monday afternoon, police said.
Port Authority Police received a report at 3:35 p.m. that a car was "completely engulfed in flames" midspan on the bridge's upper level heading into New Jersey, said Joseph Pentangelo, a Port Authority spokesman.
There were no injuries reported and all the occupants got out of the car safely, Pentangelo said.

The fire also closed two eastbound lanes on the bridge's upper level, Fort Lee Police said.
One lane of the New Jersey-bound upper level had been reopened as of 4:10 p.m., Pentangelo said.
