Fisherman's Body Recovered From Freehold Twp. Lake: Report

The body was found Thursday night, the report said; the man's identity has not been released.

FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP, NJ — The body of a fisherman who fell out of a boat early Thursday at Lake Topanemus has been recovered, according to a report.

News 12 New Jersey reported the man's body was recovered Thursday night. He has not yet been identified.

The report said the man fell overboard around 3:30 a.m. and his companion called 911.

The Monmouth County prosecutor's office confirmed the search Thursday but said details about the person and the incident were not available at that time.
