Monmouth Distribution Centers Closing Early

Monmouth County’s distribution sites will close at 1 p.m. Wednesday in advance of a nor’easter set to hit the area. The three sites were set up throughout the county to assist in relief efforts from Hurricane Sandy. They are scheduled to re-open at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 8.

The three distribution sites are as follows:

  • Holy Family Church – 910 Route 36 Hazlet
  • Monmouth Park – Oceanport Ave., Oceanport
  • Peddler’s Village – (formerly known as the Circle Factory Outlet) 1407 Atlantic Ave., Wall

The donation center set up at Thompson Park in Lincroft located at 805 Newman Springs Road will be accepting donations until 4 p.m. today and is scheduled to resume operations Thursday, November 8 at 8 a.m.

The Monmouth County Office of Emergency Management is recommending that people stay off the roadways during the storm, according to a press release issued by the county.
