Marine Mammal Stranding Center Seeking College Interns

The Marine Mammal Stranding Center, New Jersey’s only marine mammal & sea turtle rescue organization is seeking college interns for the 2013 summer season.

Ideal candidates will be residents of Atlantic, Ocean or Cape May Counties with reliable transportation to and from the Center’s headquarters in Brigantine (Parkway Exit 40).

Interns should be available from mid June to the end of August.  Preference will be given to Marine Biology, Education and Environmental Science majors.  For more information, contact Sarah Miele, Education Coordinator at (609) 266-0538 or e-mail a resume and cover letter to edummsc@aol.com.

 ABOUT THE MARINE MAMMAL STRANDING CENTER The Marine Mammal Stranding Center is a private non-profit organization based in Brigantine and is the only organization in the State of New Jersey authorized to rescue and rehabilitate stranded marine mammals and sea turtles. Since the Center's founding in 1978, over 4,000 animals (including whales, dolphins, seals & sea turtles) have been handled by the Center.
