Deptford Man's Body Found Near Mantua Creek
No foul play is suspected in the death of Theodore Smith III, who was discovered near the Route 45 overpass of the creek in Mantua Township.
A Deptford Police Officer discovered the body of a 58-year-old man on the bank of the Mantua Creek after the man’s wife reported him missing on Sunday, the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office announced.
No foul play is suspected in the death of Theodore Smith III, who was discovered near the Route 45 overpass of the creek in Mantua Township.
Smith was last seen leaving the Telford Inn in Mantua Saturday night. He told a Telford employee he was walking home.

An autopsy by the Gloucester County Medical Examiner’s Office is scheduled for Monday
