Gloucester Township Police to Host Third Junior Police Academy

Registration is June 4 at the Gloucester Township Recreation Center.

Gloucester Township Police to Host Third Junior Police Academy
The Gloucester Township Police Department will hold its Junior Police Academy for the third consecutive year.

The juveniles will be considered cadets and will be given a uniform to wear every day.  The Junior Police Academy consists of physical training, lectures, presentations, hands on activities and a field trip. 

The Junior Police Academy culminates with a graduation for each class.  The Junior Cadets will learn how to march and work together as squads.  Cadets will learn the importance of being physically fit, staying drug free, teamwork and respect.  

Registration will begin June 4 at the Gloucester Township Recreation Center on Broadacres Drive from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Ages 10 - 12

Dates: July 21-25 2014 & August 4-8 2014

Times: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM Daily

Location: Gloucester Township Police Department

Cost: $125.00

 

Ages 13-16

Dates: July 28 – August 1 2014

Times: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM Daily

Location: Gloucester Township Police Department

Cost: $125.00

 

Advanced Junior Police Academy

(You must have completed basic academy prior to taking this Academy)

Ages 11-16

Dates:  August 11-15 2014

Times:  8:30 AM – 3:00 PM Daily

Location:  Gloucester Township Police Department

Cost:  $125.00
