GT Stallions mom Lorie Leary submitted the following press release to Gloucester Township Patch:

The GT Stallions went pink this past weekend to bring awareness to breast cancer. Players and cheerleaders, as well as fans and parents, adorned themselves in pink shirts, socks, pink helmet decals, and pink bows.

Funds raised for breast cancer awareness will be donated to a local survivor. The evening was capped off by the 120-pound team, which honored one of the players' parents, Jackie Aviles, who just completed radiation and chemotherapy in her battle against breast cancer. Each player, as well as coaches, presented her with a rose at midfield to her surprise and delight, as a sign of their solidarity with her in her battle with breast cancer.
