Police Investigate Fatal Halloween Shooting in South Jersey

A man was shot to death on Saturday night.

Police are investigating a fatal shooting that took place on Halloween night in Camden.

Jared Clark, 26, of Camden, was found lying on the floor of his home, suffering from a gunshot wound around 10:43 p.m. Saturday night, Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson said Sunday evening.

Clark was found by Camden County Police who were responding to a 911 call about a gunshot victim.

Clark was transported to Cooper University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 10:59 p.m.

An investigation into the shooting is ongoing. No arrests have been made at this time.
