Alexandra Donnadio Named Miss UNICO Hillsborough 2016-17

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Alexandra "Alex" R. Donnadio of Hillsborough was selected as Miss UNICO Hillsborough for 2016-17.

Donnadio, 22, is a graduate of Hillsborough High School, Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) and is currently attending John Jay College of Criminal Justice.

She has volunteered at the Vacation Bible School, JFK Hospital, NJ Association of Counties as well as other organizations. She received her Bronze Award in Girl Scouts and was a member of the Criminal Justice Club at RVCC.

Donnadio enjoys hiking, outdoor activities, sports and cooking. One of her favorite Italian-American traditions is helping her mother prepare Sunday dinner.

Her parents are from Sicilian and Calabrese decent.

Donnadio’s first public appearance as Miss Unico Hillsborough will be attending the Hillsborough Rotary Fair Family Fun Day for families with children/young adults with disabilities on Saturday, Aug. 20 from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Lowes Parking Lot.

Donnadio will also appear in the John Basilone Parade (Raritan) on Sunday, Sept. 18 at 1 p.m.
