Hillsborough, NJ -- Are you the next Miss Hillsborough?

Hillsborough Chapter of UNICO is looking for a young woman who can represent the township's Italian-American community in the John Basilone Parade.

Applicants must fit the following criteria:

• The young woman must be at least 50% Italian
• Must be a resident of Hillsborough
• Must be continuing her education
• Must be between the ages of 18 to 25 years old
• Must be comfortable speaking in public
• Must learn the Motto and purpose of UNICO
• Must be able to: Attend John Basilone Parade in Raritan, Sunday, Sept. 18, 2016

The successful applicant will be invited to attend: Comedy Night Fundraiser on Oct. 15. The successful applicant will provide assistance, however possible, with Comedy Night Fundraiser.

Provide a biography that includes any applicable information regarding:

1. Academics
2. Community Service
3. Arts & Music
4. Sports
5. Hobbies and Interests
6. Italian Heritage

• Information regarding your Italian heritage/lineage  - parents, grandparents, region of Italy
• What does your Italian Heritage mean to you?
• What are your favorite Italian American Traditions?

Applications must be filled out and include a photo, no smaller than 4”x 6” and must be received no later than July 4.
