Fire Breaks Out At Hillsborough Townhouse
A Hillsborough resident is displaced following a fire that left the townhouse uninhabitable on Sunday night.
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — A Hillsborough resident is displaced following a fire that left the townhouse uninhabitable on Sunday night.
Smoke and flames were reportedly coming from the basement of a townhouse located at 41 Manor Drive when emergency responders arrived at 8:23 p.m., Hillsborough Police reported.
Firefighters extinguished the fire, but the basement suffered smoke and fire damage, police reported.

The 48-year-old female homeowner was not home at the time, but the home was deemed uninhabitable because of the damage sustained.
The fire does not appear to be suspicious but is still under investigation by the Hillsborough Township Police and Hillsborough Fire Safety Bureau, police report.
