Cops Arrest Hoboken Teen’s Alleged Murderers: Prosecutor
Hudson County detectives have arrested two Jersey City residents in connection with the murder of an 18-year-old Hoboken male.

HOBOKEN, NJ — Authorities arrested two suspects Wednesday in connection with the fatal shooting of a local teen the day before.
According to the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office, detectives arrested Khalif Geiger, 20, of Jersey City, and a 17-year-old juvenile from Jersey City, in connection with the fatal shooting of Adrian Rivera, 18, of Hoboken.
Prosecutors said that Hoboken Police Officers were dispatched to 300 Marshall Drive in Hoboken on a 911 call of possible gun shots in the area around 3:15 p.m. on Jan. 24.

On arrival, officers found Rivera in an apartment suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso, authorities said.
Emergency responders transported Rivera to Jersey City Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 3:50 p.m.

A neighbor of the deceased youth called him a “good kid” who “never gave anyone problems” and “was just a teenager like anybody else,” NJ.com reported.
Authorities charged Geiger with Murder in violation of N.J.S. 2C:11-3; two counts of Felony Murder in violation of N.J.S. 2C:11-3; Armed Robbery in violation of N.J.S. 2C:15-1; Armed Burglary in violation of N.J.S. 2C:18-2; Possession of a Firearm for an Unlawful Purpose in violation of N.J.S. 2C:39-4; Unlawful Possession of a Firearm in violation of N.J.S. 2C:39-5; and Hindering Apprehension in violation of N.J.S. 2C:29-3.
Authorities charged the 17-year-old juvenile with Murder in violation of N.J.S. 2C:11-3; two counts of Felony Murder in violation of N.J.S. 2C:11-3; Armed Robbery in violation of N.J.S. 2C:15-1; Armed Burglary in violation of N.J.S. 2C:18-2; Possession of a Firearm for an Unlawful Purpose in violation of N.J.S. 2C:39-4; Unlawful Possession of a Firearm in violation of N.J.S. 2C:39-5; and Hindering Apprehension in violation of N.J.S. 2C:29-3.
