HOBOKEN, NJ — If you live on Jefferson Lane in Hoboken, you are part of the inspiration behind a pair of local entrepreneurs’ new organic cotton bedding collection.
Hobokenites Anand and Dimple Talreja’s company, “Jefferson Lane,” was named after the neighborhood that they call home, according to a company news release. The online retail company offers organic and sustainable cotton bedding “at an affordable price, sold direct to consumers.”
The pair said that their new collection includes cotton sheet sets, duvet covers and pillowcases, made from organic and fair trade cotton, sourced and woven in India.

“We founded Jefferson Lane with a simple mission: to offer consumers high quality organic bedding at a fair price while ensuring our products are crafted to the highest standards and minimizing impacts on the environment,” Anand said. “Our goal is a brand that promotes a healthy lifestyle, while raising the quality of life for the people actually making these products.”
To further the company’s “commitment to giving back to the community,” Jefferson Lane encourages consumers to donate their gently used bedding in exchange for a discount on their next purchase, Anand stated.
