Hoboken Students Get STEM-med Out At Stevens Institute Of Technology

Hoboken, NJ – Eighth grade students from Hoboken’s public, private, and charter schools recently participated in a day of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) activities and innovation at Stevens Institute of Technology.
The May 17 learning event - held in partnership with Hoboken Family Alliance and featuring Mayor Dawn Zimmer as a guest – included students from Hoboken Charter School, Hoboken Catholic Academy, All Saints Episcopal Day School, Hoboken Junior Senior High School, Elysian Charter School, Mustard Seed School , Stevens Cooperative School and Hoboken Junior Senior High School.
“The goal is to prepare students to take advantage of their high school years to position themselves for success in college and stimulate their interest in pursuing STEM degrees and careers,” event organizers stated in a news release.
