The Week Ahead: Monmouth County Student Art Exhibit in Hazlet

The Bayshore Regional Sewerage Authority is meeting tonight at 7 p.m. at 100 Oak Street in Union Beach.

Harla Rudolph, MS, CCC-SLP will explore the challenges of living with autism in a lecture in Morganville on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.

In Holmdel

The Planning Board is meeting on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Town Hall.

The Kiwanis Club is meeting at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at Ruby Palace Restaurant, in Holmdel. Holmdel Kiwanis has been serving the Bayshore area of Monmouth and Ocean Counties since 1965.

The Board of Education is meeting on Wednesday at 8 p.m. at Satz Middle School. 

Join St. Benedict's Roman Catholic Church for a mass of Thanksgiving honoring Pope Benedict XVI on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.

In Hazlet

The Township Committee is meeting Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Town Hall.

A student art exhibit begins this Friday and runs through March at the Hazlet Public Library, with drawings and photographs created by students of the Monmouth County Arts High and Arts Middle School. The exhibit will be available during regular library hours: Mondays and Wednesdays, 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.; Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Fridays, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Weekend Plans

The Jersey Shore Workcamp Gift Auction and Dessert Buffet is Friday at 6 p.m. at Raritan High School. All funds go to purchasing building materials, paint and supplies to improve houses for homeowners in the Bayshore area. Admission is $10.00. 

Lakewood Blue Claws Fan Fest is this Saturday at 11 a.m. Individual BlueClaws regular season, Celebrity Hitting Contest, and South Atlantic League All Star Game tickets will go on sale for the first time to the general public.
