Annual Easter Egg Hunt Returns to Jefferson Middle School
The Jefferson Township Recreation Department's 20th annual Easter egg hunt will be held on Saturday, April 12 at the middle school field on Weldon Road.

The egg hunt starts at 1 p.m., following the GFWC Jr. Woman's Club's 33rd annual Bunny Brunch at the Jefferson Township High School cafeteria.

The hunt is open to children up to 9 years old. Participants should bring their own basket to collect the eggs and there is a maximum of 10 eggs allowed per basket. All children will also receive a gift from the Easter Bunny, who will also be posing for photos.

The Jefferson Township Middle School Student Council/Red Cross clubs will have a bake sale table with proceeds benefiting the Operation Camp Jefferson 2014 Fund to help children in financial need attend the township’s summer day camp program.

The Recreation Department will accept donations for residents in need of food through the township’s food pantry. N on-perishable food items, paper products, household products and/or toiletries are particularly needed.

The recreation department’s Scholastic Book Fair will also be going on in the middle school’s cafeteria.

There is no admission charge to participate in the egg hunt. For more information, call the recreation department at 973-663-8404 or visit the township website ( www.jeffersontownship.net) and go to Departments, Recreation or the Events section.
