Lacey Police Charge Forked River Woman With Drunk Driving After Hit And Run On Parkway Exit

Amanda Malinowski faces numerous other charges and also had two outstanding warrants.

A Forked River woman who fled a hit and run accident on the Garden State Parkway southbound exit recently is facing drunk driving and numerous other charges, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.

Lacey police received a call about an erratic driver and the accident at 10:28 a.m. on April 15. Police located the vehicle a short time later on Brentwood Place in Forked River, the chief said.

Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of Amanda Malinowski, 34, Brentwood Place, for driving under the influence. Malinowski was also charged with driving under the influence with a minor passenger, reckless driving, driving with a suspended license, driving an unregistered vehicle and driving an uninsured vehicle, Paprota said.

She also had two outstanding Lacey Township Municipal Court warrants in the amount of $250 each. New Jersey State Police investigated the hit and run traffic accident, the chief said.
