Lacey, Waretown Men Charged Nabbed in Heroin Dealing Investigation
A Forked River and a Lacey man are facing drug distribution charges after the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office pulled over a car in which the two were riding on Wednesday night.

The car, a 2000 Chevrolet Cavalier, was suspected of being used to transport heroin into Ocean County, said Al Della Fave of the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office.

Ryan Tatham, 25, of Forked River and Kevin Kennedy, 30, of Waretown, were arrested after detectives stopped the vehicle on Bay Parkway in Waretown at about 10:45 p.m. Wednesday night.

At the time of the stop, the vehicle was found to be occupied by Kennedy and Tatham and, as a result of the investigation, detectives located approximately 113 individual dosage units of heroin, Della Fave said.

Bothmen  were arrested and transported to the Ocean Township Police Department.

Tatham, of Lakeside Drive South in Forked River, was charged with possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute and tampering with physical evidence. He was released on a summons.

Kennedy, of Compass Road in Waretown, was charged with possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute and tampering with physical evidence. He was also was released on a summons.
