Police Searching For Armed Robber Who Hit Country Farms Store Sunday
Man brandished a handgun and fled store with cash.

A county-wide alarm has been issued for a man who robbed the Country Farms Store in Eric Plaza on Lacey Road Sunday morning, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.
The man walked into the Forked River store at 11:10 a.m., brandished a handgun, then fled the store after the clerk handed over cash, the chief said.
He is describe as a white male, medium build, possibly in his 30s, approximately 5’11” to 6’1” tall, wearing a black and white checkered flannel shirt, a black hoodie under the flannel, dark pants, sneakers, and sunglasses. His hair color is unknown. No facial hair was reported, Paprota said.

The man was got into a light green, older model four-door sedan, unknown model similar to a Ford Taurus. The vehicle left the area west on Adolphus Street toward Lake Barnegat Drive North in Forked River. Lacey Township Police Department patrol division personnel are searching for the vehicle, the chief said.
A countywide alert (MOCIB) was issued at the time of the initial report. Detectives are at the scene to conduct the follow-up investigation, Paprota said.
