Church Tricky Tray to Help Families in Appalachia

Being separated by hundreds of miles won’t stop one church from helping families in need a few states away.

Trinity United Methodist Church will hold a live, silent auction Saturday, April 26 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. to benefit the Appalachia Service Project (ASP).

The ASP is designed to help people in the Appalachia area rebuild homes, add rooms, replace roofs, install plumbing, add wheelchair ramps and other amenities needed for daily living.

More than 100 items including furniture, antiques, services, gift certificates, event tickets and other products will be available at the event. Cost is $5 at the door, which includes a free soft drink. Burgers, hot dogs and a pasta dinner plate will be available for sale as well.

Trinity United Methodist Church is located at 213 Main Street in Hackettstown.
