Many Washington Township residents know their neighbor Howard Popper as a former committeeman, longtime Planning Board member and municipal utilities authority representative along with being a husband and father.

But what many may not know is his prowess in the courtroom as a trial attorney, which was recently recognized across the state of New Jersey.

Popper has been named among the top 100 trial lawyers in New Jersey by the National Trial Lawyers, an organization comprised of premier trial lawyers from across the country who demonstrate exceptional qualifications in their area of the law, specifically criminal defense or civil plaintiff law, according to a press release from the group.
