A tractor-trailer overturned on Route 17 north around 4 p.m. Wednesday, Mahwah police announced.
The driver was trapped inside the vehicle, Chief James Batelli said. Police, fire, and rescue units, including a medivac helicopter, were at the scene.
There were heavy delays on Route 17 north, authorities said.
