Garbage Truck Catches Fire At Manalapan Wawa
This was the scene Wednesday afternoon at the Wawa on Union Hill Road in Manalapan, after a garbage truck's contents ignited.

MANALAPAN, NJ — This was the scene Wednesday afternoon at the Wawa on Union Hill Road in Manalapan.
The contents inside a garbage truck caught fire, and the truck immediately pulled into the Wawa parking lot to dump the burning trash, police told Patch. The garbage truck was owned by Meadow Brook Industries out of Elizabeth.
The Gordon’s Corner Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire. No injures or collateral damage were reported, said Captain Thomas Barstow of the Manalapan police department.
