High School Artists Invited To Congressional Competition

Original artwork can be submitted to MacArthur's office; the winner will be on display for a year in the House of Representatives.

High school students from the Third Congressional District are invited to compete in the 2016 Congressional Art Competition.

The selected artwork from the district of Rep. Tom MacArthur will have the honor of being displayed in the United States Capitol for a full year. Additionally, the winning artist will be invited to a reception in the United States Capitol with winners from across the country.

Any high school student in the Third District is welcome to enter. Artwork must be completely original -- in concept, design, and execution. Artwork must also be entered in the original medium; no scanned reproductions are allowed.

All artwork submissions must be sent or dropped off at Congressman MacArthur’s district offices in Marlton or Toms River by April 25. Notification of winners will be April 29. If you want to learn more about this great opportunity, please visit the Congressional Art Competition website.
