Lakehurst Mayor's Update: Upcoming Borough Events

Hello Lakehurst,

There are a number of things I would like to tell you about.

The first being the unfortunate . Our taxes will be going up 3.14 cents per $100. Like I said before, the one thing we need to remember is Lakehurst is a full service town. That is something you don’t see much of anymore. 

The Annual Bicycle Rodeo will be held on Saturday, June 2, with a rain date of June 9 from 12 to 4:00 p.m. at . This event is hosted each year by the Lakehurst Police Department along with the Lakehurst Municipal Alliance. This event is open to all children from pre-K to 8th grade. All participants must wear a helmet.

On June 14, the (baseball field next to Saint Johns). There will be two shows one at 4:30 p.m. and one at 7:30 p.m. So pack up the kids and take them to the big tent for a night they will never forget. I hope to see you there.

On May 12, an open house was held at your EMS building. Although the turnout was less than adequate, there were homemade brownies and cake. The Fire Department put on a demonstration using the Jaws of Life. If you and your family were not able to attend, you missed a very informative event.

The first at Lake Horicon from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., so come on out to pick up some Jersey Fresh produce.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I would just like to remind you that council meetings are held at 7:30 p.m. on the first and third Thursdays of each month at the Lakehurst Community Center. If you have something on your mind, or just want to meet us, please come by and say hi.
