Winning Lottery Ticket Purchased At Whiting Store

From the New Jersey Lottery:

Carole Hedinger, New Jersey Lottery Executive Director, announced that there were no jackpot or second prize New Jersey winners of the Mega Millions game, but there were six third prize winners for the Friday, February 21 drawing.

One of those third prize winning tickets was purchased with the Megaplier option, making the ticket worth $25,000. That ticket was bought in Ocean County at the Krauszer Food Store, 7 Whiting Shopping Center, Whiting. The other third prize winning tickets, purchased without the Megaplier option and worth $5,000 each, were sold at the following locations: Ocean County at Rite Aid #2529, 895 West Bay Ave., Barnegat; Bergen County at Lucky 13 Card & Gift LLC, 13 Broad St., Norwood; Hudson County at Polsky’s, 601 Harrison Ave., Harrison; and two in Essex County: one at Friendly News & Food Store, 128 Montgomery St., Bloomfield and the other at Reyes Food Market, 382 Clinton Pl., Newark.

In addition to the Garden State’s $25,000 and $5,000 winners, 40 players each purchased $500 winning tickets. Moreover, 147,732 other New Jersey players took home $279,704 in prizes ranging from $1 to $250, according to Hedinger.

“Congratulations to the lottery winners and to the retailers that sold all of those winning tickets,” said Hedinger. “For selling the winning tickets, the retailers have become many more Lottery ‘lucky locations’ overnight.” The winning numbers for the Friday, February 21 drawing were: 23, 29, 32, 45 and 46. The Gold Mega Ball was 15, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 05.

The Mega Millions jackpot rolls to $195,000,000 for the next drawing, which will be held Tuesday, February 25 at 11:00 pm. Watch live drawings for the Pick-3, Pick-4, Jersey Cash 5 and Pick-6 games at the Lottery website (NJLottery.net), or on the official Lottery Facebook Page.
