Win SOPAC Tickets for John Waters Show

Sign up for the Patch newsletter and email your name to win two pairs of free tickets to one-man show on Saturday, Feb. 2.

Win SOPAC Tickets for John Waters Show

John Waters has done it all in Hollywood.

He’s directed, produced, written, acted in and edited such as “Pink Flamingos,” “Polyester,” “Serial Mom” and “A Dirty Shame” and has had several of his commercial films adapted for the stage.

During that time, Waters has met and gotten to know many of today’s biggest Hollywood stars.

Patch is teaming up with the South Orange Performing Arts Center, located at 1 Trenchard Place in South Orange, and giving away two pairs of tickets to the 8 p.m. performance of “John Waters: This Filthy World” at SOPAC on Saturday, Feb. 2.

“John Waters: This Filthy World” focuses on Waters’ early negative artistic influences, his fascination with true crime, exploitation films, fashion lunacy, the extremes of the art world, Catholicism, sexual deviancy and a love of reading.

To enter to win one of Patch's pairs of free tickets, first sign up for the Patch newsletter, then email Essex County Associate Regional Editor Jack Durschlag at jack.durschlag@patch.com with your contact information — including your name and email address as well as a daytime and night time phone number. All entries must be received by 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31 and must include the phone numbers to be eligible.

Winners will be notified individually and may pick up their tickets at the box office Saturday prior to the show. Click here for complete Official Rules.

If you don’t win our free tickets, you may still purchase tickets at the SOPAC box office. Tickets for the show range from $35-$75.
