Plane Crashes In Monmouth County Field: Police
One man was injured in a plane crash in Monmouth County, police said.
One man was injured in a plane crash in Monmouth County on Saturday, police said.
The Marlboro Township Police Department responded to the incident after getting a report of a single-engine plane crash at 1:03 p.m., police said.
A small plane crashed into a field located in the area of School Road East and Oak Lane. Arriving
officers located a small single-engine plane in the area, police said.

The pilot, whom police did not identify, was the only occupant of the plane and it was reported that he was suffering from a leg injury. The pilot was transported by Marlboro First Aid to Jersey Shore University in Neptune, New Jersey.
His condition was unknown at press time.

Responding to the accident were the Marlboro Township Police, Colts Neck Township Police, Marlboro Fire Department, Marlboro First Aid Squad and MONOC Paramedics.
There was no other reported property damage and the cause of the accident will be investigated by the
National Transportation Safety Board.
