Three houses were burning overnight in a fast-moving fire in the Matawan area, police said.

It was not clear as of Sunday morning if anybody was hurt in the fire, according to News12.
The fire was near 485 Harding Road in Old Bridge on Saturday, near borders with Matawan, Keyport and Middletown, according to Middlesex Police, Fire and EMS and CentralJerseyFire.

At least one of the homes was totally gutted, and flames were reportedly shooting as high as 30 to 40 feet in the air, burning a tree. The fire began in the marshy woods area, and apparently grew after striking a grill, according to News 12.
Units from the surrounding area were responding to the fully involved fire, saying three structures were involved, according to the reports.
