An employee driving a truck for Madison Township Lumber & Supply in Matawan suffered a medical episode and crashed into Marquis Florals.

OLD BRIDGE, NJ — A tractor trailer truck crashed into a strip mall off Rt. 34 near Edgar Road in Old Bridge Tuesday morning.
The accident happened at Marquis Florals on Rt. 34 near Edgar Road, in Old Bridge. The truck was picking up lumber from Madison Township Lumber & Supply, located next door to the flower shop, said Barbara Martorana, one of the owners of the lumber yard.
"The driver apparently suffered a medical episode and I don't know if he passed out or had a seizure, but instead of turning onto Hwy. 34, he crashed into Marquis Florals," said Martorana.
