FEMA Representatives in Mendham Township

Representatives from the Federal Emergency Management Agency are set up at the Brookside Emergency Services Building in Mendham Township, according to Police Lieutenant Vito Abrusci.

"They are here now and we aren't sure how long they are going to be here for," Abrusci said. "But they have plenty of representatives here to answer questions."

FEMA will also me at the Brookside Emergency Services Building on Saturday Nov 10 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to help anybody complete a relief application.  You do not need to be a Mendham Resident.

"They will have plenty of workers to assist in filing," Abrusci said.

According to Abrusci, Evan Thomas, Mendham Township OEM coordinator and Thomas Barenback Mendham Borough OEM ccordinator urge people affected by Sandy to file for these applications because FEMA may reimburse for many different expenditures.

Applications can also completed without coming down to the Emergency Services Building by visiting FEMA’s website at www.disasterassistance.gov.

"However the 15 minute process to complete with a real person is painless," Abrusci said.
