Garbage Truck Fire Damages Shopping Center In Mendham
Four businesses at the King's Shopping Center were damaged.

MENDHAM, NJ— A garbage truck fire that broke out in Mendham early this morning damaged four businesses, according to reports.
The fire broke out around 6:30 a.m. when a propane tank in a garbage truck exploded. It then spread to the stores in the King's Shopping Center.
Country Coffee Shop and Village Pizza suffered the majority of the damage, and the Chocolate Shoppe and Aoyama Chinese and Japanese Restaurant were mainly damaged by water.

The fire was under control by 8:15 a.m.
