LOOK: Firefighters Rescue Kitten From Chester Borough Storm Pipe

Feline was trapped underground, in the middle of the road, fire chief said.

Thanks to the ceaseless efforts of some Chester volunteer firefighters, a kitten trapped in a storm drain has lived to see another day.

The kitten was trapped inside an underground pipe in the middle of Orange Street in Chester Borough when firefighters attempted to rescue the feline. But because of the cat’s location, no one could reach it.

That’s when one of the firemen left, grabbed a chimney brush long enough to reach the kitten, went back underground, and retrieved the animal, fire chief Toby Drysdale told Patch.
