One person was killed in a fatal car crash on a New Jersey highway this weekend, police said.
State police say they are investigating a one-car fatal crash on I-195 eastbound that happened on Friday that killed a 66-year-old man in Monmouth County.

The accident happened at milepost 16.2 in Millstone Township. The right lane was closed during the accident.
A 66-year-old Stafford Township man was identified as the driver who went off side of the road when he lost control of his car on Route 195 eastbound.

His car then hit several trees and flipped. Robert Augustine was pronounced dead at the scene near Exit 16 at about 2:20 p.m. He was the only person in the 2005 silver Toyota RAV4, car, State Police Sgt. Gregory Williams told Patch.
The right eastbound lane of the highway was closed for two hours during the investigation, Williams said.
