Sinkhole Shuts Down One Lane On Parkway In Middletown
Breaking: Garden State Parkway commuters, we have some news that may impact your commute home Wednesday evening:

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — One lane of the express Garden State Parkway south through Middletown Township is currently shut down Wednesday due to a sinkhole that opened up in the middle of the Parkway, NJ State Police confirmed to Patch.
The sinkhole opened near exit 109 in the Middletown area just before noon today.
The New Jersey Turnpike Authority had to shut down the right lane of the GSP express south to begin repairs, and to protect cars from driving through it.

Both express lanes south will be shut down after Wednesday night's rush hour to fully repair the sinkhole, Tom Feeney, a spokesman for the Turnpike Authority, said.
He said all the work will be done before the Thursday morning rush hour.
