A New Jersey man was killed this weekend when he was thrown from his truck after it hit a tree, according to the State Police.

A New Jersey man was killed this weekend when he was thrown from his truck after it hit a tree, according to the State Police.

Robert Stinson, 57, of Millstone was killed in the crash while a second person was trapped in the vehicle, according to State Police.

The second victim's injuries were not considered life-threatening, police said.

Stinson was driving a 2009 Ford pickup truck on Emley's Hill Road at 11:41 a.m. Friday when he veered off the left side of the road and hit a tree, police said.

The truck flipped, throwing Stinson out of the vehicle, police said. Stinson was not wearing a seatbelt, while the other passenger was.
