Public Hearing on Dispatchers Moved to October

At the end of this week's Township Committee meeting, the committee members decided to push the public hearing and presentation about Livingston taking over the police dispatch to the meeting on Oct. 9.

Committee members Ted Bourke and Thomas McDermott of the subcommittee researching the issue, said they are still waiting on information from Livingston before a complete report can be presented. 

"We can give an update next meeting," Bourke said.

The committee said the original proposed move date, Jan. 1, 2013, was "flexible." 

Bourke explained the subcommittee still needs to address a few issues and the committee wasn't close to voting on any action.
